Effort SP01 – Basic Algorithms
Posted: November, 2023
Contributions: None yet.
Status: Open for development.
Objective: Once the first signal’s database from healthy subject is ready. The next step is to write (and make available) algorithms for common ECG interpretation tasks. For example, rhythm detection, alarms and other common tasks used in the clinical practice.
Effort SP02 – Waveform Recognition
Posted: November, 2023
Contributions: None yet.
Status: Open for development.
Objective: According to the published proposal, the next step in advancing the research is to develop a waveform recognition algorithm. This algorithm should be capable of recognizing as many waveforms as possible for subsequent parameter extraction procedures.
Effort SP03 – Clinical Parameters Extraction
Posted: November, 2023
Contributions: None yet.
Status: Open for development.
Objective: Once waveforms are recognized, extracting their parameters will be reduced to a geometric problem. This algorithm should take into account that human experts may have differing opinions when interpreting certain ECG parameters. Therefore, options to accommodate user preferences should be considered.
Effort SP04 – ECG Description Language
Posted: November, 2023
Contributions: None yet.
Status: Open to development.
Objective: Once the waveform recognition and clinical parameters extraction processes are complete, the next step would be to develop an ECG description language. This is because performing diagnostic procedures on a well-defined language would be easier than directly on the ECG data stream.
