The Kenshin project is primarily a scientific endeavor. Its goal is to make the results of ECG signal processing research accessible to society through the creation of a comprehensive front-end software tool that can assist physiologists in interpreting electrocardiograms. Despite 60 years of intense research and thousands of published papers, one might assume that everything in this field has been explored. However, unfortunately, even today’s high-profile commercial electrocardiographs have not achieved the level of efficiency required for reliable use in clinical practice.
A good starting point for getting involved with this project is to read the published article “A Collaborative Platform for Advancing Automatic Interpretation in ECG signals”. This article can help you understand the general problem as well as get an idea of the proposed solution. To achieve such a significant goal as this project has, collaboration is a must. Therefore, all minds are welcome.
